12 November 2006

Well we were very lucky with the weather. After the weather the previous weekend and the miserable weather during the week we were pleasantly surprised.

We had a great afternoon shooting at Bradleys Head, Observatory Hill before making our way to the Opera House ready to board The Pontoon for the ceremony and reception.

Harbour cruises are great for receptions but when told of the boarding time, make sure you are on time!

I finally had the pleasure of meeting up with the couple whose wedding I am shooting this weekend.

This couple is from London. They flew into Sydney last Saturday and will be flying back to London next week. Wednesday morning we finally managed to meet up to discuss their wedding and to fit in a quick pre-wedding shoot.

Let's hope they didn't bring the English weather with them!

Well I was truely blown away when I saw what my bride was wearing!

but then I guess I should have suspected she would wear a non-traditional gown. This bride has the ability to light any room she walks into and this gown is an extension of her personality.

I knew after doing this couple's pre-wedding shoot last month that this wedding was going to be a lot of fun.

Ever done it in a lift? Photos that is. The weather last weekend brought a lot of rain and wind. We were lucky enough to come across the brilliant lights of this lift - great for a bit of mood.

But this sort of weather can also produce stunning shots.
